PACT members
We want all current and future members of the primary care team to join PACT, including medical students, junior doctors, GP trainees, qualified GPs, nurses, physiotherapists, physician associates, pharmacists, paramedics, and all other allied healthcare professionals. No prior clinical or research experience is needed!
By joining PACT you will participate in high quality national primary care projects, learn valuable research skills and have the opportunity to be a named author on research publications and presentations.
Please read the PACT Constitution and PACT Authorship Policy before joining.
Connect with PACT members
PACT members receive a monthly email newsletter with updates about PACT projects and activities.
We use the NIHR Learn online platform, allowing PACT project Principle Investigators to chat with members working on PACT projects and allowing PACT members to also get in touch with each other directly.
Develop practical research skills
By joining PACT and collaborating on a PACT project you will be supported by PACT in learning practical research skills through video tutorials and guidance on NIHR Learn.
We are also developing an online PACT Research Skills Programme that PACT members can voluntarily complete to learn more about the practicalities of clinical research.
